Primary Eye Care Center offers The Eye Surgery Center, a state-of-the-art surgical center on premises at our Bloomfield location.  The Eye Surgery Center was established in 1985 and was the first free standing ambulatory eye surgery center in the state of Connecticut.

The Eye Surgery Center has received its certification by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), a national non-profit organization whose symbol is recognized as the gold standard of quality in ambulatory surgery.

The AAAHC’s strict standards prevent many centers from pursuing accreditation and  others from achieving it. It is an added symbol of quality and our commitment to maintaining the highest standards.

Using cutting edge technology and unparalleled medical expertise, the physicians and staff of The Eye Surgery Center perform a variety of procedures including; cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, oculoplastics (functional and cosmetic eyelid surgery) and yag laser procedures.

We ask that you please bring your insurance card with you on the day of surgery and a list of your current medications.  It is also vital that you let us know in advance if your insurance coverage changes.

The Eye Surgery Center is also pleased to offer you the flexibility of accepting all major credit cards and certified or cashier checks and several affordable financing options.
