Primary Eye Care Center has two full-service optical shops located in our Bloomfield and Windsor locations that offer contact lenses and a wide variety of contempory eyeglasses at competitive prices.  Our licensed opticians will assist you in selecting the proper frame and lenses to accommodate your lifestyle.

Contact Lenses:

We offer the highest line of contacts such as Acuvue Oasys, Pro-Clear, Pure Vision and many more. To order contact lenses, contact our Bloomfield office at 860-243-8726, or our Windsor office at 860-688-7219.  Please note that we do not currently accept online orders for contact lenses.

 Specialty Eyeglass Lenses:

• Progressive lenses: Progressive lenses are for patients that have presbyopia, a natural ageing process of our eyes that occurs around age 40. As we age our eye muscles get weaker and result in the need for reading glasses. Progressive lenses also known as, no-line bi-focals, provide continous clarity for distance, near and everything in-between without the “annoying” bi-focal line. No one will even know you are wearing bi-focals!
  
  
• Anti-Reflective Coating: This specialty lens coating assists greatly with glare and night driving. In addition it is very benefical to relieve strain from computer use under florecent lights. By eliminating reflections off the surface of your glasses this lens appears “invisible”.
  
  
• Polarized Lenses: This sunglass option is most effective at blocking surface reflections from water, road surfaces such as ice & snow in addition to many other glare related conditions.
  
  
• Transition Lenses: if you would like the ability to have your eyeglass lenses change inside and outdoors without changing glasses, Transition lenses may be the choice for you!  This specialty lens changes on its own responding to the amount of light it is exposed to.  It is also available with polarization to remove glare for added benefits.
