Dr. James Castner has practiced ophthalmology in the Windsor area for over 25 years. He is a graduate of Fordham University and received his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he also performed his internship. His residency was performed at the Naval Regional Medical Center, San Diego, CA. Dr. James Castner is a board-certified ophthalmologist, is certified by the American Board of Eye Surgeons, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Connecticut Society of Eye Physicians. Dr. James Castner is on staff at The Eye Surgery Center, Hartford Hospital, Saint Francis Hospital, and Johnson Surgery Center.
